One of my favourite things about this time of year is being able to indulge that little bit more in all the delicious food on offer. From countless mince pies to that extra roast potato (or five) on Christmas Day. And of course the festive period wouldn’t be complete without chocolate. Amirite?
The lovely ladies at Creighton’s Chocolaterie, a quirky British chocolate brand ran by mother and daughter (Lucy and Andrea) have been kind enough to send me four delicious festive flavours to sample and really get me in the christmas mood.
Candy Cane white chocolate with crushed peppermint candy cane
Toasted! milk chocolate, marshmallow, crunchy pieces & a hint of smoke
Sparkle & Fizz dark chocolate with champagne & popping candy
Christmas Tree dark chocolate with a hint of siberian fir
Each bar is beautifully packaged and unique in flavour with just the right amount of festive cheer. I was so impressed with the flavours, they’re some of the most interesting i’ve ever come across! The Candy Cane in particular was particularly tasty. I was a little worried the peppermint would be too strong (a bit like eating a mix of chocolate and chewing gum) but it was beautifully subtle which worked so well with the smooth, creamy white chocolate. These bars would make a wonderful gift for any chocolate lover so be sure to get your orders in before its too late!
These bars were sent to me as a gift in order to review – all thoughts and opinions are my own.
