Happy Wednesday folks. I hope you’re having a lovely week so far. The weekend is just around the corner! And talking of the weekend…
1. Bank holiday weekend klaxon! I bloody love this time of year with all the glorious long weekends. Brett and I actually have a four day weekend coming up as we’re off work on Friday, yay! We’ve promised ourselves we’ll be proactive with getting more things done around the house and garden, however we are going to go to Nottingham for the day on Saturday. So send your recommendations my way, you guys.
2. It’s four and a half years since Brett and I had our first date! It seems to have gone by in a flash yet at the same time it feels like we’ve been together a lifetime. It’s crazy to think that in four and a half years we’ve got married, bought a house, done a load of travelling and bought a kitten. Time flies when you’re having fun, eh? Sorry, I’ll stop being soppy now!
3. Today marks the start of a 100 day walking challenge I’m taking part in along with seven of my colleagues at work. There are several teams throughout the business and the goal is for each team to try and rack up the highest amount of combined steps. Now (if any of my team members are reading this, I aplogise) I’m not the most competitive person in the world but I am conscious that I really don’t move as much as I should! So I’ll be happy if I reach the recommended amount of 10000 steps. I’m not joking, sometimes I think I barely make 4000 so I’m hoping to slightly increase my fitness levels! I’ll keep you posted with how I get on!
