Three Faves

I think these days most of us would declare Instagram our favourite social media platform. It’s not all selfies and curated snaps of avocado on toast (although my feed consists of both these things!) it’s so much more than that, I’ve found some of my favourite blogs and made friends through Instagram. And one of the main reasons I love it, the reason for this post, is it has opened up a world of wonderful brands and creators that I would have otherwise not known about.
From homewares, flowers and paper goods I thought I’d share three of my current faves with you and hopefully you’ll discover something new.

First up is Bloomon, a flower delivery service with a difference. Hope on over to Bloomon’s website and you’ll find no pre made bouquets to chose from, you simply select: small, medium or large and a stylist will design a beautiful bouquet using the seasons hottest flowers. To get an idea of their style you can see the sort of bouquets they create over on their Instagram feed which is full of the most beautiful flowers for you to swoon over. Every bouquet looks like it’s been freshly picked from a meadow, better than a sorry looking £3 bunch from a petrol station, right?

I couldn’t do this post and not include Rebecca and Karl, the lovely pair behind Wildflower Illustration Co. They create some of the loveliest paper goods I’ve come across in a long time. From beautiful cards, stunning prints and pretty bespoke pieces you’ll be hard pressed not to snap up everything they have on offer. Head on over to their Instagram and you’ll see a whole host of wonderful designs plus an insight into their beautiful home! It’s a stationary lovers dream.

Now, I’ve spoken about my love for Mia Fleur on the blog before but I couldn’t resist including them in this post, too. These lovely ladies (who I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of weeks ago) have the most beautifully curated online home and garden shop. Their Instagram page is like stepping inside the prettiest house you could imagine. From the sweetest decorative pieces to stunning furniture they just get everything so right! My home is slowly filling up with so many gorgeous bits and bobs from their site, I mean can you blame me?

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post, I’m thinking of making it a monthly feature. I’m always discovering (and falling in love with) new brands and it would mean of me to keep them a secret now wouldn’t it?

  1. I love this post!

I wrote something similar this week too. I think it’s such a good thing to do to support small businesses and also introduce people to new stores! I’ll definitely check out your suggestions.

I was thinking of doing a regular update on small businesses I’ve come across – a monthly post would be great.

Loved reading it lovely and have a great day.
